The roofs are finally being tended to. And they look a sight better than they used to. Have a browse at the pics below. These photos represent the state of affairs of the roofs for ages. Not only have the roofs been leaking in various sections, but several hundred kilograms of bird, waste, and various forms of debris have accumulated. Venting also has been allowed to become unloosened, and in general, the roofs were clearly lacking in TLC.
Thankfully, somebody is FINALLY doing something about it...
Suzan, of the VRA has lead the way in having the roofs PERMANENTLY refurbished.
The roofs on Hillary, and Livingston look so much better than previously, and are clearly functionally more competent. The refurbishment is PERMANENT, and not a temporary measure !! Check tomorrow we will have the new photos posted.
