We would be interested to hear from any practising and / or retired barristers who might be able to help us in our legal fight - we believe that everyone on the estate will benefit although only a few are able or willing to contribute to fighting the ludicrously high service charges demanded ... all assistance welcome!
Join the VRA - for £5 (for the whole year)
Join the VRSG. This is the group of residents who are paying a regular monthly amount to fund the legal fight against the astronomical service charges levied. Although a contribution of £30 a month is being paid by almost all regular contributors, including ALL of the CURRENT committee, for those who are unable to pay this sum, any regular payment would be welcome.
Our legal representative would like to hear from anyone who has a problem with their flat which has not been rectified, i.e. leaking roof, lack of water, litter, intimidation or threatening behaviour ... anything along these lines.
If you would like to start a group, say a coffee morning club for retired and / or those not currently in work PLEASE LET US KNOW.
Access is there to help with a huge range of topics. There are a number of interesting funded and part-funded courses available through Trafford Hall for tenants and volunteers that will be valuable to you AND the community.
